About Jeff

My name is Jeff Blair and I am an Orange County native.  I am a 31-year veteran of the Tustin Police Department.  I worked a variety of assignments and promoted through the ranks, eventually retiring as the Deputy Chief of Police.

Prior to becoming a police officer in 1989 I was a fitness trainer at a local gym where I met several officers who were members of the facility.  Those connections launched my career as a police officer, but I always maintained a love for personal training and fitness.  I was an active competitor in the United States Police & Fire Games/USPFG where I won several gold medals and set the USPFG national record in the sport of powerlifting in my weight class. I am also a competitive slow-pitch travel softball player and have won the Police Softball World Championship on 6 occasions.

I have dedicated my life to staying abreast of training trends, scientific studies, and industry standards.  I blend a combination of formal education and anecdotal experience in my personal training services.  I am a certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association/ISSA and have current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.

Now that my law enforcement career has ended, I am returning to my roots and restarting my previous calling in the fitness industry.  You can find some of my personal training videos and photographs on my Instagram page, @jeffblairjb .

I do this because I enjoy it and I enjoy helping people make positive changes in their life. Since I am retired, my availability is limited so I generally book in training blocks 8 weeks at a time.
